Mix & Match

One of the things I love about CTMH products is how they are designed to co-ordinate. Whether you're mixing papers between different lines or matching canvass stickers from one set with bling and brads from another, the overall feel when using CTMH products is cohesive.

My layout, based on the Canadian Scrapooker It's a Sketchy Challenge sketch, features one paper line, two stamp sets and four embellishment sets.

The hearts in the sketch suggest romance. I immediately thought of my long neglected wedding scrapbook and knew the perfect papers for the theme: La Belle Vie (pg. 37). I used the complimentary Jardin stamps (pg. 39) as well as Sweet Moments stamps (pg. 93).

Notice the journaling area? I stamped "Remember this day" from Sweet Moments repeatedly in Cocoa, Saddle and Cashmere inks. I like the ombre effect and also how the sentiment relates to the title--which is a canvass sticker from the Avonlea Complements Canvass Shapes set (pg. 18).

The hearts are Evergreen Cork Shapes (pg. 130) that have been stamped and inked with Cranberry ink. I really love these cork shapes! They take ink very well and give you a nice, crisp stamped image. No bleeding!

Finally, the page is dressed up with Bitty Sparkles, Bitty Opaque Pearl Adhesive Gems and Sparkles from the Red, Pink and Purple Assortment (pg. 127). It's very nice how the Sparkles come in different sizes. The tiniest ones used on this page are the perfect size to complement the Bitty Pearls.

I'm so glad how well the elements from my CTMH stash work together! With a great sketch and a few products, getting pages done quickly is a snap!

If you love this sketch too, why not try the Sketchy Challenge for yourself! If you do, leave a comment here so we can check out your work!

Happy Scrapping!
